| Comment | : | This study is the first randomized controlled clinical trial worldwide investigating the impact of cold atmospheric argon plasma on the clinical progress of wound healing in standardized wounds. Cold plasma treatment seems to improve wound healing due to its positive influence on re-epithelialization, the amount of fibrin layers, and blood crusts. No relevant side effects occurred, and the treatment was well-tolerated. |
